A detailed view of the jaw of my thylacine sculpture, which can be viewed here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10853538
Thylacine - Thylacinus cynocephalus
This is a hand sculpted bust of a Thylacine, also known as the Tasmanian tiger or Tasmanian wolf. The Thylacine is native to Australia, and is neither feline nor canine. It is actually a marsupial. They are famous in the animal kingdom for their wide ‘yawn’, able to open their jaws up to 120 degrees.
I gave this sculpture a needed overhaul. I cannot recall how many hours I put into this thing, but it was easily 100+. This sculpture sports a realistic jaw, professional glass eyes, and realistic whiskers and nose pattern.
The piece measures about 10in x 8in x 5.5in overall.
Original: For Sale
