This piece does kinda remind me of some of the schools I'd bounced around...

All I can think of is that a simple construction workman is too unsophisticated to have heard of French cooking... otherwise he'd have had frog's legs for lunch.

(But what if they didn't stop dancing, even in his stomach?)

Have a practice grenade myself, next to the computer. Same sort of "pineapple" design, but never armed with a primer or explosive, used by the CAF to practise throwing I was told.

I got my practice grenade at an army surplus store. In Canada that means mostly old boots, jackets, web belts, inflatable rafts perhaps, but no guns or helmets or anything too explicitly military as a rule. But this one had some practise grenades for ten bucks. Apparently they can be told at a glance by the spoons, which are painted blue. (The spoon is the lever you hold down after pulling the pin. I don't know why its called that.) Another dead give away is looking at the bottom -- the dud has been drilled out so you can look in and see its hollow.

Yeah, I've owned a couple. They're fun, especially with people who *don't* know what blue paint on MIL-tech stuff means.

Oh mercy--little ones packing heat in their lunch pails--AND KOMICS??! Never in my day.
