okay so i turned it on and. It had nothing. Just black screen, an old ass windows display bar and. No files, programs, anything. So me being the angry cat I am, I turned it off :u punched it

turned it back on and nOW IT WORKS

wait.. ive had that happen too now that i think of it, when i boot it in safe mode- it's usually when you can't access the internet and it's like your computer is a near clean state, but the no icons sounds weird- check to see your computer didn't automatically boot like that?
