They were sandals made from neoprene so her footpaws would stay dry in the wet forest floor. :)

It was amusing to see folks drive by looking at the view then notice a five and a half foot tall hyena. Hehehe.
Yes, the eyes are wonderful! They are ever so slightly reflective and with the flash they pop out wonderfully!

Also, that's about the view I get from work, there be slugs in them thar hills as well and newts and all sorts of neat things..including anthro hyenas! <3

We took pics to show how we did it. I can send them to you. For hers since they were the prototype we used thick sheet neoprene and for mine we found anti fatigue mat at Lowes for much cheaper and it was thinner, much thinner and worked just as well. The reduced weight was nice.
