Ah, a speed painting usually takes about five hours or less. They're drawn at a much smaller size than full illustrations, and that actually helps cut down time by quite a bit! I also cut out a couple of time consuming steps that I wouldn't cut out in a full illustration, such as special refinements and texturing, etc.
