It is a rather big honor in my opinion because it's a promotion from E3 to E4. As with any promotion, there is greater responsibility and more work to be done, but also a pay increase. But for me, it's just a huge honor. I'm very sentimental and small things like this make a huge difference in my life. When I got off the stage and went back to my division, I had that feeling almost like graduating high school. You have your diploma in hand and all you're thinking is "Wow, I did it"

See when I got my ESWS pin, my buddy BM3 who pinned me kept the frogs until the next morning. Everyone was smacking the pin and punching it, trying to get it to stick. Needless to say, it stuck. When I took off my shirt for the evening, you should've seen the blood that was soaked into it. Now I permanently have 3 sets of 2 holes on my chest, and I couldn't be happier
