Specifically for my own dragons, Erin (pictured here), Blaze, and Firelight.

So, here's the thing. I've never been QUITE satisfied with how I render my dragons, and after some thought as well as some discussion with a friend of mine who is also an artist, I've discovered some of the things I wanted to change a little. Here's the list of them:

-Lower stance with a lower center of gravity, which better balances the wings and tail without so much strain on the back.
-Stance mimics a raptor-like stance a little more.
-Properly rendered ears for my dragons.
-Altered the shape of the head to be more dragon-like.
-Updated the eyes to be more properly expressive.
-Changed the hands to be more dragon-like. Still indecisive about whether I want to have opposable thumbs or not, so this is slightly up in the air. Will likely change to have thumbs again.
-Removed "exposed bone" look on the wing thumbs and gave them a softer appearance

I'd love to hear opinions on the new design! I'm really happy with it, myself. Let me know what you think! =)
