The new book "The Elements of Harmony" is a wealth of information about the series! And in addition to fascinating tidbits, remarks from the creators, and images of characters as well as early design sketches, the book contains something never seen before:

Rarity's mother's cutie mark. It's three chocolate chip cookies, one with a bite taken out! Also, Rarity's father is seen without a hat, proving that he is indeed a unicorn, and he has a dashing mane. Also a lovely sweater with elbow patches.

I decided to update my color key of Rarity's parents from the illustration in the book and include her mother's cutie mark and her father's sweater. I also updated the colors upon discovering that the video file I have of "Sisterhooves Social" has more vibrant colors than the one I originally used for these two.
