Why Armando the hedgehog? why does he look like Sin?

This is Armando the hedgehog from 1911. He is Sins ancestor from the wild west days. He is from Mexico and he served in the Mexican Army. He fought for what he thought he believed in but that all changed when he witnessed first hand what the mexican army was doing to "rebel" villages. Killing innocent men, raping women and girls, stealing from homes. He beleived he was helping mexico to become a richer and more welcoming place until he realized the Mexican Army was no better than the rebels. He defected and became a wanted criminal for treason against mexico. He eventually fled to America. On his way he saved a young american woman from the fate of the mexican army and convinced her to return with him to america. There he started a family and started a small ranch. he had to later return to mexico to settle old business. He disappeared there and was never heard from again.
