Old Chalice City Map
Much fading, tearing, etc. Still looking for the number key, and most of the street names had faded beyond recovery - I relabeled the ones I could make out, and renamed anything I couldn't.
Not sure if I'll redo this map, actually, I kinda like the hand-drawn feel of it, but there's a TON of things I'd do differently now.
Chalice is in a coastal volcanic caldera that once served as a communal 'rookery' for dragons. Once the dragons were cleaned out, humans (and others) moved in.

No. This was done more than ten years ago, and any resemblance to a cell (I assume you mean like, biological cell?) is purely coincidental. The primary inspiration was the old D&D map of Lankhmar from the Fafhrd and Grey Mouser stories by Fritz Lieber - at least for how to do city blocks and some of the street names. Its round, I guess, like a cell, because conforms to the interior of a volcanic caldera with the seaport in the middle. ie. a cup or a 'chalice', holding liquid.
