This takes place before the Animorphs meet the Ellimist since Rachel is in elephant morph instead of bear morph, which she acquires in #7, which is also where they meet the Ellimist.

She continued to use the elephant morph occasionally after that, whenever they needed more firepower. I just felt like drawing her in elephant morph for this pic.
