Those pesky Poleepkwa are back, and up to all kinds of alien mischief. Wikus isn't really sure what he's looking at... but he suspects that it's a violation of some kind.

This was supposed to be  Squeakie's Valentine for 2012, but before I could color it my computer had a full meltdown. ...Power supply, hard drive, cooling fan all fried. Even the cooling pad between the processor and heat sink was burnt to a crisp. It took some time to track down and replace all of the components (seeing as my computer is over a decade old) without paying "collectors" prices.

Once that was resolved I was able to get back to work. The intent was to keep it simple (hence the cartoony style, simple perspective, and very little clean-up) and have it ready for Valentine's Day 2013.

The coloring was supposed to be simple too... think animation cel where the colors on the characters were to be flat while the background was more detailed. I figured that I could speed things up even faster if I used textures in the background, instead of trying to paint the whole thing. Unfortunately the textures gave the background too much detail and left the characters looking out of place.

...Enter my O.C.D., and various other distractions / responsibilities and here we are several months later. Don't worry though, Squeakie got plenty of other Valentine treats.

The text on the top of the doorframe says "love cocoon".
