Damn punks!
Chameleons always look...kinda sour and pissed. I guess that's why I like 'em so much, they are much like me. I move kinda slow too.
Anyway, this is actually a digital mock-up for an oil painting that I've got planned (my first oil painting) and I'm excited and trepidatious too. It's something new for me but I've gottta try it!
Also, I've been studying color theory. HOLY CRAP! I've been doing things very, very wrong for a long time now. Ignorance...ignorance. Things are gonna change now.
Get off his lawn...you PUNKS! >:()

*Ole Man Chameleon has a heart attack!* ;)
Here's the book: http://amzn.com/0823007553
I highly recommend it. It has opened my eyes to the nature of color. It's quite small but packed full of tips about paint and more important how to mix paints and how they react with one another. This is not an easy book to read, but it is written very strait forward. I have already read it three times and I'm starting to grasp things a little better.
You can get it used on Amazon quite cheap really and it's very much worth it. It's a Watson-Guptill book and I trust their books quite a lot. If you've never studied color (and I hadn't) you NEED this book to open your eyes. Keep in mind that it's written for the painter, but the theory applies to nearly anything.
I would have done SO many works differently had I read this book first. I just wanna throw everything out! It had even changed the nature of my digital work. Ole Man Chameleon being the first since I read it.
Get yourself a color wheel, if you haven't already!
