Her fur has really gone down since winter, it's such a different view. By the way, is that dry cat food in her bowl? I was wondering about how to feed a fox

Yes, that's dry cat food. But I give that only in very small portions over the day, basically just three fingers full every time, kina snack for in between. Her main meal consists of wet cat food which I give her every morning, right after she woke up. It HAS to be cat food, because of the Taurin that's in it. Foxes NEED that at any cost. But aside the boring cat food, she also gets raw meat, eggs, cheese, apple, innards, potatoes (she likes them cooked, not raw!) and dog food in all its shapes and colors. To keep her entertained, I try to put everything in boxes and other containers for her to rip apart. She actually LOVES to do that, because she knows exactly that a reward awaits inside.

Oh, I forgot to mention bones. Bones of all sorts. Whenever possible, we remove the bones from our beef/meat/chicken/whatever and give it to her. I always keep a good bit of flesh on the bones because raw meat is still the best a fox can get. Also, an absolute favorite of her are mashed potatoes with scrambled eggs. Man she is crazy for that stuff!
