Inspired by a fond memory of simply calling a friend back in the day, I quickly drew this. There was something soothing about that memory, to just dial a number offhand or from my personal phonebook. Ten years ago, I would not believe I would rely on my phone to remember my friends' numbers (and birthdays!), things change fast don't they?

On a related topic, this past weekend I was mostly on the phone calling up friends that I knew in my hussle to find a con hotel room. Only recently I managed to be able to afford the trip to Anthro Con this year, which I was/am not prepared at all! So I was quite busy hustling around texting and messaging anyone I know who was going. Honestly, I was quite lucky to find a room and thoroughly to her and everyone who offered help!

Anyway, in short: I sketched something for fun and decided to colour it!

PS: Saw a girl on the train with a corded phone receiver connected to her cell phone! Weird!
