At 19 years of age,Casey is one of many lost and forgotten souls wandering the back alleys and abandoned regions of Neo Tokyo. He walks through crowds, scrounges up credits doing what he can to buy a hot meal, and just survive. He's a peculiar young man. People walk right by him, even look directly at him, and yet never see him. It's as if Casey is invisible. The young Lion is only noticed when he directly interacts with someone, then they wonder how they ever missed him. He avoids getting close to anyone, even talking to the same person more than once. The reason? Casey has a very malevolent and jealous..friend. A demon attached to his life-force named "Aka." Casey wanders the streets searching for a way to be free of it, and to put together crucial pieces of a puzzle that is his memory.
