Sorry about the long delay between postings but I have been very busy both at work and in the studio. At the moment my big thing is getting
abakan way, way overdue commission finished. The calendar continues to advance in Equestrian dreamscape, and so it was that Winter Wrap Up final came to Ponyville. Now unlike the TV series the is on an event that all happens in one day. It is actually spread out over about a week total, but the Wrap Up is an all pony event and the more hoofs on the job the better. I was particularly looking forward to it since this would be my first chance to test my weather pony skills. My first set of exams would not be until the week after the, but since everypony is suppose to help with the Wrap Up Rainbow Dash was able to do some bureaucratic wrangling to get me on to the weather teams. However to make certain that I didn't go and do something unfortunate, Rainbow Dash assigned me to her immediate staff so she could keep an eye on me.
Petina of course decided that best way she could help with the Wrap Up was by getting herself assigned as Twilight's assistant for the event. Of course she first made her sales pitch to the Mayor before letting Twilight know. Petina is very good at getting people organized and motivated, and as a successful business woman/ pony she knows the importance of sticking to a timetable and a plan. However Twilight really would've liked to have been asked first. But she was not about to raise too much of a fuss about it so Petina got to play second secretary and order relayer for Twilight.
As for myself, I really enjoyed finally being allow to actually use my cloud and weather manipulation skills for the first time. Much Dash's relief I had no embarrassing or dangerous moments and actually seem to have real knack for getting clouds moving. After this RD was certain I would have no trouble acing the first weather exam.
Carousel of course volunteered to help with the preparations for spring planting. She was really hoping to get some time pulling a plow, but Applejack politely declined her offer. AJ wanted more experienced ponies handling that part of the job, but she'd be really happy if Carousel would be will to run tools, materials, seeds and meals out to members of the local Grange. Carousel was a little bit depressed by this but perked up quickly when AJ said she'd personally give her instructions and tips when it came time to start plowing for our own garden. With no further ado Carousel went off to get her cart out of our little barn.
While the Wrap Up was a lot of hard work it was very rewarding and in the end it helped reinforce and strengthen the friendships and commitment between neighbors and the community as a whole. Throughout Equestria ponies once again renewed their bonds with friends, neighbors, the realm and to the very land, sky and water that supported them. Now the growing could begin.
To be continued.

Oh Finally. That Winter seemed to last Forever.
Yeah, sorry it took so long to post the whole dream arc, but still it is a winter that will be remembered for quite some years around Ponyville.
Oh man, the look on Twilight's face... I can't imagine what she went through with Petina, must have been quite a story.
Petina thinks that she and Twilight had a wonderful time doing Winter Wrap Up. She believes that the time they spent with she each other really them understand each other. Twilight might have a slightly different take on the experience.
