God, I miss games like this.

They really need to make more space combat sims.

Well, Gearbox -did- recently aquires the rights to release again the original Homeworld games, after making them compatible with modern operating systems :)

Personally I'm a whee bit thrilled to soon(hopefully) be able to get a -legal- copy of the original Homeworld without going through amazon or ebay ^^

But really, space -rts- like Homeworld are probably even more rare than space sims.

[Also, you BASTARD, I don't play Homeworld, but I had JUST kicked the Defense Grid and Sanctum habit until those cannons reminded me how much fun it is to DESTROY ENTIRE FORMATIONS OF THINGS. If I'm off the wagon, YOU'RE holding my Tower Defense Anonymous medallion until I recover, buster. *grin* )
