Kalo'Temir, Arch Demon of the Plane of Destruction
It is a SHITTY drawing, but it's all I could do. This is a newer villain, Kalo'Temir being the proper way to spell his name but the aprostrophe isn't necessary; it sounds the same either way.
Anyway, this villain is not a new member of Calhoun's group. On the contrary, this character was designed almost specifically for my current event, 'The Search For Volcan'; THIS ugly mofo is the one who took him.
Kalotemir is one of the most powerful demons in existence, the only ones known to exceed him being Lucarinai and the Demon Lord of the plane both come from. He's a chimera-like monster, with the head of a wolf, hunch-backed, long-armed body like a troll, and the tail and legs of a dragon, but covered in brown fur all across his body. And yes, those ARE spikes jutting out of his shoulders; from the side they look like fangs, but from the front they resemble nails. The one on his right should looks like it's coming out of his head, ftw. And speaking of nails, you can also see his sickle-like claws, which are as hard as diamond.
What makes Kalotemir dangerous is his unique ability; he has the power to absorb the essences of people who's souls he consumes, taking from them their life force and, in the case of Volcan and others like him, their Elemental abilities, and by doing this he gains the abilities, traits and experiences his 'food' has been through. Because of his long lifespan, and performing this for thousands upon thousands of years, he can command every element and every power except for control over Nature and Time, but he can use Fire, Earth, Wind, Water, Ice, Lightning, Metal, Light, Darkness, Psionic, and Arcane alike; there seems to be no end to his abilities.
Kalotemir is responsible for the disappearance of Volcan, having travelled to the material plane to find his next 'meal' to enhance his powers further still. And unfortunately the first one he found was Volcan, who was utterly crushed by Kalotemir and taken back to the Plane of Destruction to await his fate.
Can Vinge and whatever allies he gathers save Volcan before it's too late, from the most powerful opponent they have EVER faced?
EDIT: Used MS Paint to try and added his other ear, so it looked less like his right-shoulder-spike was jutting out of his head.

Yes, it does kill them but he hasn't fed on Volcan yet because he hasn't finished 'ingesting' the last person he consumes; it takes half a year of his dimensions time trill absorb a person's powers. And no, it doesn't wear off; the power he gains remains indefinitely, but he can only increase it by consuming more; basically consuming is how he becomes stronger and how he evolves.
Yeah, but that was the case with Sylar and Peter Petrelli. Part of the reason Heroes started to go downhill for me was we had two uberpowerful beings with multiple powers and no negatives other than that. Yeah, they were vulnerable to the usual stuff, but compared to the others that had one power per person, they were way overpowered, but that's enough of that I suppose.
