Wanted to see if I could get something with a batch of characters better placed on the page; wanted to see how I'd tackle something this involved now; and, I wanted to see if I could use color cues to suggest a bright, hot day. Tried out using a really rough underpainting to try and give the adventurers a coherent blue-gray cast compared to the dragon.

I really like the molten splatters off the shield. Makes me think the knight is gonna need a new shield when this is all over. That one can get hung up in the local tavern as a badge of honor. ^_^
I also like the musket/rifle that the dwarf has, and you had enough attention to detail to have him reloading it with a powder horn. Small things like that are what I enjoy the most.

The perspective does look a little crunched, it's a little hard to judge where in space the jumping barbarian is (it sort of looks like he's landing in front of the dragon, not moving towards it,) but the grounded figures come across great and it sure looks baking hot.
I could just be having issues with interpreting negative space too, your artwork centers the background along with the figures in the middle & I'm more used to seeing characters oriented in a background that frames them. TBH I wouldn't have thought about it if you didn't mention perspective specifically.
As always your character designs are great, full of fun little details. I'm not sure about the composition; I'm thinking the diagonal from the dragon's head to the guy with the shield is the major focus, but it's not really emphasised; everything's about equally bright, and it seems like the figures form a balanced pentagram.
It's clearly a bright day, but to get that real desert glare I think you need much darker shadows with sharp, defined edges.
As an aside, I randomly stumbled across some of your art in an indie publication - great to see your stuff appearing in game books!
