In the far West, countless islands lie scattered amongst the endless seas. Humanity is spread thin this far from the center of Creation, and the Wyld churns endlessly against the fringes of reality. Without humanity to remind it of its shape, Creation forgets what it is, and succumbs to the Wyld, dissolving into raw chaos.
In the far West, there are those known as Island Singers. Alone, they sail the endless sea from uninhabited island to uninhabited island and sing to them to remind them of their shape. Were it not for the Island Singers, the Wyld would've long since washed vast swaths of the far West back into chaos.
Once, Tyshon was such a Singer, following the ancient trade lines of a long-vanished empire and performing his meager feats of mortal magic to preserve the shape of the thin scraps of land that existed in the endless waters of the great Western Ocean.
Then came the storms. The churning waves of Wyld. And the great fay warships that rode on tides of chaos. Then came the voice of The Unconquered Sun.
Now, Tyshon doesn't just sing to remind Creation of its shape, he sings songs that pull long lost scraps of the world back out of the Wyld. He ventures deep into shapeless seas and makes deals on behalf of Creation and the Sun with the courts of chaos. He brings the long forgotten authority of The Princes of the Earth to the Elemental Courts and struggles to reinact long-stale treaties between mortal and spirit.
And all the while, he looks over his maps of the stretches of the far West and wonders... Once, in the First Age, there was no need of Island Singers, no danger of islands lost to the Wyld. What would it take to bring such a world about again?

"Exalted 3rd Ed" will be out soon! When it's released, I'll be reattempting my Illustrate Every (Solar) Charm Iron Artist Challenge (IESCIA!) As part of this, I'm creating 15 characters to use when illustrating the Charms. Each Skill will have three characters covering it, each character will cover five skills.
First up, Tyshon - Eclipse - Western - Archery - Performance - Occult - Awareness - Sail

You really have to work at it to whitewash Exalted.
Creation ethnicities don't really match up with Earth ethnicities, but I still made notes of what I should be looking up for facial references when drawing the different characters.
In order, I have:
Polynisian
Scandanavian
Arabian
Celtic
Amerind
Romanian
Latino
Thailand
Chinese
Zulu
Mongolian
North African
Inuit
Aztec
