I was wondering if it would be feasible to give an inflatable moving joints. The concept here is that only the blueish swirls are connected to the torso, the limbs have a flat fold connection to the swirls so they can move. I wanted Hugh to be able to sit down in some way (making the legs bend forward would require the seam to run along the side which would leave the leg with less definition) as well as rest face first against a surface (hence also the flat, chibiish face) for better hugging. He'd be closer to a large plushie in size rather than the room filling sizes that are common.
Is this design feasible? Would it need an irresponsible amount of chambers? Is it stable? I have no real clue about inflatable design.
Since it's just a concept I haven't bothered with valves or wrinkles yet, just seams to check if the seam placement would work.
