Hummingbirds are dicks. http://25.media.tumblr.com/46e34b63.....i0rbo1_400.gif
If you have a feeder hanging outside your window you can normally stick your hand beside it... give them about ten minutes and they'll be sitting on your fingers.
And after the feeder is there a couple weeks you can usually hang it slightly inside and they'll just fly right in like they own the place.

O.O I once saved a bird, too! Except that it was a BABY bird! I mean, like freshly hatched baby bird! It looked like it fell out of its nest......Come to think, where WAS its nest? Whatever the case, it was like, in the middle of a sidewalk! I just knew the poor thing would die if I didn't try to do something to help it <=( Luckily, there was a little tree just nearby my old house(this was all back while I lived in Indiana--my mom and I were just out for a walk)and it had a nest just good enough for the baby bird. I had to carry it home carefully because it hadn't learned how to fly yet, but we made it <=3 I'm so glad I found the little one before someone came and accidentally stepped on it--or worse......I like to think that the baby bird may have even gotten lucky enough to be adopted and grew up to be a strong and healthy avian, maybe even got married and had its own kids ;w; (But then again, that's just me^^;LOL......)The point is I did what just about any other animal lover would do; I went to the hatchling's aid and took it home to safety. *sniff* Brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it?
