Life in a city can be difficult for a rat, and eventually it will catch up to each and every one of them. Though not all deaths are brutal and horrific. Sometimes, it can seem almost peaceful.

I absolutely love the way this picture turned out. Flamethrower was offering up some City themed practice commissions, and I thought it would be cool to see how harsh life in the city could be for a rat, and gave him free reign on how to portray Rodent's passage.

He captured this idea both beautifully and powerfully with this scene, where the harsh contrasts and somber mood portray the mood and atmosphere so perfectly.

My thanks to Flamethrower for accepting this idea and doing such an amazing job with it.
