Okay so I guess this is sort of an art trade between me and my friend 
vincentdante? He wanted someone to color the picture he drew for his character (a link to the original lineart can be found below) so I said I'd do it and in exchange he's going to be doing a morbid piece of my character's most brutal memory. The color is not done yet, naturally, this is only the flat color upload.
Please keep in mind that I did not draw or alter the original lineart/character. I did however decide that it would be incredibly spiffy if there was a busted mirror beneath his face and the scrawling writing that he's doing in blood. I'll probably put blood in the cracks between the broken glass when I get around to the shading and more in depth color. I was just so happy with the way I managed to do the mirror effect that I had to post it up.
I'm not sure yet what, if any, background that I'll do for him. I'm sure I'll think of something as I get to it. He wanted the picture to be fairly dark, so I'll try my best to accomplish that. OH! And before I forget, I'm trying a new coloring style. Did anyone notice that I switched from the softer airbrush tone to a smooth, darker paint? I quite like it, particularly for pieces that I anticipate to be more in depth/less cheerful. Anyway, look forward to the finished piece soon.
