Anatomy Studies from photographs. I searched for the muscles myself, means: LOTS OF MISTAKES!!
Please do NOT use this drawings as References for your own work - you will copy my mistakes!

Anyway...I learn the most by studying anatomy like this. But it's still a little bit "own interpretation" - so please don't be too hard with this. If you see a MAJOR big mistakes, please tell me - but no nitpicking-critique. Thank you ;D

Also - thanks to Wolfy-Nail, who kicks my butt so that i finally study this stuff!

:3 ich benutze zum Üben ein Buch über Bodybuilding. Das ist wirklich gut, weil die Muskeln angespannt und nicht angespannt dargestellt werden und für Männlein und weiblein.
Kann es dir gern mal mit zur EF bringen. :3

This is cool regardless of whether or not it is 100% accurate. I've been meaning to do a muscle study of my own. Maybe we can compare notes?

I think it's because i focused some more. At home i always distract myself and whine to you because - I fear to fail in your eyes.
Also it's better to do this digital - it's cleaner and easier to work with colors later. *notes*

think you can link some of the references you used? to me it looks great, hence why i'd like to compare your sources. I'd like to see where the mistakes are compared to the bodies you used. Maybe I can learn from your mistakes :P.

Good stuff, and yeah, this is exactly the kind of thing *I* need to do if I ever want to draw something better than a stick figure. Thanks for sharing, even if it has mistakes in it.. (Not that *I* can see where they are. :)

AAhhh, ok. Hey, never hurts to keep practicing, right? ;) heh, I going have to do same thing in next class set. Your teachers make you take a Skeleton and draw the muscles onto it?

The major issue I see is that in a human being, the trapezius inserts a bit more laterally (http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lm9934mBVm1qf2qey.png), all along the spine of the scapula. If you have a few extra bucks and want a great gross anatomy reference, I'd suggest getting a copy of Netter's Atlas of Human Anatomy: http://www.amazon.com/Atlas-Human-A...../dp/1416059512 - Dr. Netter is one of the greatest anatomic illustrators of all time

I love the Netter's Atlas! It's such a beautiful reference! =D
New copies of it are a bit pricy, but when you go for a used one you can usually find a good deal.

Another good anatomy reference is The Trail Guide to The Body by Andrew Biel.

I'm doing muscle studies right now for a final project in my drawing class. Have to do full muscle rendering inside a contour pose I drew of a model. Will.... take awhile
