Although I can't read hieroglyphics (real or fabricated, although I do remember taking a lesson in middle school on how to write them), I'm assuming that Anubis is wondering just what in the bloody hell everyone's going around showing him as being hung like Odin's horse, Slepnir.

When a person dies and enters the afterlife, their heart is weighed by Anubis against a feather, the feather symbolizing truth and innocence. If their heart, essentially their soul, is lighter than the feather (meaning that they have little truth in their heart), it is fed to Ammut, their soul consumed, essentially dying a second time.

...I thought being lighter than a feather was a good thing. O.o;; Man, I have got to get my Egyptian myths straight.

After looking it up in my big book of mythology, you are correct, as a heart 'heavy with sins' would out-weigh Ma'at's headdress feather, which stood for justice and innocence, and thus, would be fed to Ammut.

That's how I remember it. And it kinda makes sense. 'Course, if you count good deeds in gold, the other method could work too. =P
