Headshot of muh snookums, Arazante. Even with his rather "bland" design, he's one of the only creatures I have drawn repeatedly to this day.
For tidbits of info: Arazante is a Salmoyt-hybrid. A Salmoyt is an original creation of mine. Large, bulky creatures who hide within cliff crevases in grass lands. They are well-known as "Gods of Bulk" due to the fact, as they mature, they pack on a great deal of muscle. Salmoyts travel in packs of three until breeding season. These packs usually contain at least one male and female. When breeding season arrives, one of the Salmoyts will be left behind, while the male and female continue, together, to the breeding grounds.
Arazante was the Salmoyt deemed weaker of the two males in his trio, and was left behind. He spent most his lifetime meandering from cave to cave, and has become much accustomed to night, he grew cataracts in both eyes. Because he is a hybrid of a Salmoyt and another unknown species, he continues to grow larger than the typical Salmoyt.
There will be more info on Salmoyts in the future.
