When Karpenter didn't run away after Wynch gave his warning display, the egret did the next logical thing when dealing with an intruder. A harsh lesson for Karpenter to learn, but the best way to be sure it will never happen a second time. ;)

I love the way this turned out. Wynch looks absolutely wonderful here with Karpenter's tail and legs sticking out, while the bulge in his long neck so wonderfully captures that gulping down action. I love that sense of satisfaction to the look of Wynch, with that whole, realistic look to how an egret eats was captured so beautifully captured. <3
