The Humboldt
Before I begin I would like to acknowledge someone who inspired the name for this ship, this person is
kashagalilie. When I thought of making this ship. I immediately thought of Kasha's artwork involving pirates... This reminded me of Kasha's character (of the same name) being half thylacine. It was only a matter of time before I named the large catamaran after the Humboldt Squid, which are infamous for attacking divers and fishing dingies near or at the surface of the water (yet they act as normal, friendly, average and curious squid at very low depths).
The ship is a twin hulled catamaran designed to go at unheard of speeds. Somewhere over 100 knots. The extremely fast speeds come from 6 water jet thrusters powered by 12 massive electric AC motors. They are powered by batteries charged by a fusion reactor. The fuel to power the fusion reactor is usually garbage. The ship features decadent rooms for the crew and guests to stay in, as well as a kitchen, wireless internet, sitting area, library, pool and lido deck with a retractable armoured roof. The fusion reactor also powers the lights, heat, air conditioning and weapons systems with batteries as backup. Defense systems include radar, sonar, chemical and biological sign detection systems, resistance to electro-magnetic interference, steel carbide shudders and a steel carbide hull. Weapons on the Humboldt include proximity mines, depth charges, torpedoes, several armour piercing cannons, one major munition cannon turret, a retractable proton cannon and enough guns, ammo and blade weapons to run a small war. The Humboldt has a vehicle bay, mini sub and diving equipment as well. As for rough weather, twin hulled boats are your best defense against the most dangerous weather.
Sorry about that black fading off, my scanner is hard to work sometimes. A masterpiece of form and function brought to you by The Incredible G.
