More art from the abundantly talented
treats!
This is Kieli's brother, Kauyumali, in traditional dress. He has a matching flat-top sombrero somewhere, but uh...antlers.
The Deer tribe were among the first to escape the gene-splicing centers in the late modern era. Certain native-american tribes revered chimerae, deer especially, as divine beings and refused to cooperate with authorities in dislodging them from their reservations. Lacking any culture of their own, the Deer adopted the practices of their hosts, thus, aspects of various tribal cultures were preserved by the Deer after the extinction of pure-strain humans.
Kauyumali's dress and personage are based on Huichol culture.

This guy here, his ancestors used to hide out with different tribes to make it harder to extradite them, mainly south-western and Mexican groups, so aspects of those cultures were preserved by the deer after humans had gone extinct. His outfit is based on Huichol design, his personage is based on Huichol mythology. I guess I should put that in the description. ^.^;
And I also have some Huichol ancestry too, so yay XD
If you'll note me your email address, I can send you the story he's in...it's much more about his sister, but I haven't gotten around to writing his half yet. ^.^;
