Hehe! I was about to mention, it FELT like Nagano's work. In case you do not yet know, the writer / artist / character designer from Heavy Metal L-Gaim went on to do his own manga known as Five Star Stories. While exceedingly political and a mite overpowered and far-reaching, it has a likeability all its' own. His Mortar Headds (the mecha from that series) are sheer works of art! I adore them!

Thanks for the feedback guys, most of the time I'm trying to come up with original mecha designs but it never hurts to borrow from other influential styles, after all they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery or something like that
