unit description:
the praetorian was designed from the outset as a command and control mobile suit, enabling field commanders to enter the fray and take control of the situation. while the unit is heavily armed, it is more often used in its corvette mode to better co-ordinate other units during combat.

while not terrifically fast, the unit makes up for with great maneuverability from its many thrusters and thick armour. for all the times the commander needs to enter combat and lead by example, the unit comes with an array of weapons to handle most situations. the unique weapons of the Praetorian are its flag funnels which are stored on the rear skirt armour and the manipulator arms which fold to become the side skirts.

the flag funnels serve 2 roles: a waypoint or marker and as an interceptor weapon for shooting down missiles or harrassing enemies. the manipulator arms enable the Praetorian to wield an additional pair of light weapons like beam sabers or pistols, increasing the combat efficiency and versatility of the unit.

there is currently only one Praetorian in service with the lunar colonies space forces.
