ya a wether is castrated male and there horns ar pulled the does get bigger then them bucks are even bigger

Is there a reason why they take their horns? I don't see how they could get in the way...

they do get in the way when u show them for one the horns stab u in the wrist when u show them
and the main resone is Boers are a meet goat breed
the castrated males (the pulled males Dumba and Walter) pulled means to remove the horns and I have never sold a goat to slotter yet but
when in transfer goats buck each other and if they have horns they r more likely to broose the other goats meat making it worthless
does are for breeding and does without horns will reject there kids often for goats know when they have horns or not and if she feels she has no horns she dusnt think she can protect her young.
only bucks and does are for breeding wethers and does r whats eaten bucks don't tanst good for all the testostron and the fat

(to kid)= to give birth
(nanny goat)= nursing female
(pulled)= horns were removed
(nursing)= giving milk
(goat rack size )= size of goat ribcage
(bush goat)= mix breed (mutt)
(bred)= pregnet female
(to fit a goat)= cut fur for breeding or show
