I actually liked the original better then brotherhood....... Someone did their homework... I just about spazzed at the end when Envy was transmuted into the demon Leviathan when he and Ed were sent to Earth..

There's a huge amount of demonology that went into FMA <the original show> and it is fascinating to watch...but as it interests no one but me, I won't go into it..

I actually like both series for their merits mind you, i haven't seen all of the first series just yet. The first series did a lot with what ey didn't have, and it seems no one gives them that credit. Considering they were working on it, when the project was nowhere near finished (manga started in 2002 i think, and ended in 2007, and the original series was 2003/04) so i have to give them a lot of praise.
