The idea for this piece came from the Laurel & Hardy short "Helpmates", where Oliver Hardy is out of clean clothes (thanks to Stan) and is forced to wear the only clean clothing he has, a 19th century military uniform.
What happened here is a similar story. Rusty simply ran out of clean clothes to wear and all he had was this ostentatious uniform. This is also going to be used as a cover in the future and will be a portfolio piece to wow employers for freelance work.
