I had a dream about this species last night. They did not tell me their name nor much else about them… but it was clear that they were a matriarchal society and that they evolved from Barn Owls.

I might have to play around with this species some more and see what comes from it.

I realized why I like your art as much as I do. It's the fact that it's clean and the colors makes sense; simple, but ridiculously detailed.

I try to have things make sense... especially with colors. At least when my own characters/species are involved. >_<

Critters with overly complicated patterns and flashy rainbow colors just always seemed like a big evolutionary no-no to me.

Neat critter.

I still remember (parts of) a dream I had that had some kind of lobster/dragon critter in it. I never did get it down on paper, because at the time I couldn't draw that well, and now it's been so long I don't remember all the clever details.
