After watching through Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, I fell in love with Tennessee "Kid" Cooper. I wanted to create what would be his future love interest, and this is what I came up with.

Katherine, or Kay - as she likes to be called - was born into a fairly wealthy family of shipping barons in Philadelphia. Growing bored of the effortless life her family led, she decided to gather up the few things that were really hers, and get on a train heading in a completely different direction. At the young age of sixteen, Kay found herself in the small town of Cotton Mouth Bluff working as a waitress, barely scraping by on tips.

It was then that her boss, a fairly well-off lady, shared with her an alternative way of making money; steal it. Kay was then hired as the look-out for a small gang of bandits. Over the next several years, she rose through the ranks of the gang and became second in command. By this point, the gang had amassed a considerable amount of loot, and Kay was no longer scrounging for her next meal.

Then it happened.

It was a routine heist for an anonymous client; nothing out of the ordinary. Get in. Get out. Get paid. There was a small hitch in the plan, however, as an ambush was waiting for them. Instead of the loot they were expecting to find, they found a rival thief going by the name of Clockwerk in its place. He ripped the gang apart literally with his metallic talons. Kay was seriously injured, but it was mostly her pride that lay fractured that night.

With her boss gone, Kay was the only one left to run the bar at the saloon, and with no gang, Kay was left with nothing to do but plot revenge during her late hours on the one that had destroyed her new found family - Clockwerk.
