'It was not long in the passing of time since Ardor, a hot-headed youth with the aim to seek out his lineage had set forth upon his journey. Little he had learned of his ancestry and why it was his very veins seemed to burn with the influences over flame he possessed. Though he knew not where the ability to call forth fire had come, the ability had served him well upon his trek. Something he believed fortune smiled upon him for, as the land in which he needed to pass through to gain access to his next destination went through a very powerful beings domain.
Arctos, ruler over the icy terrain Ardor now tread upon, was regarded as not only being an ominous force to be dealt with, was said to have his own unique talents as well. It was spoken in hushed voices too that few who dared cross into the leather laden ursines’ domain were rarely seen of again. Whispered rumors spared no trace of fear for Ardor, though he was alert all the same.
Fire could melt ice, fire could not freeze. Ardor knew, when he met this ice wielder face to face, he would make quick work of dispersing whatever obstacle the bear attempted to be. Yes, this would scarcely be a noteworthy encounter…
