WW1 was pretty much dark atmosphere during that level warfare.

yea to bad tintinburg and marson lakes along with german successes aganst the russain troops severlly droped the army moral to mass desertion and revolution. hell the german army could have stormed st. Petersburg before the winter of 1917 if they had the chance. also the political climate did not help Russia further.
