This is actually part of a bigger picture that I never got around to finishing. I was originally going to draw my 6 favorite Grass Pokemon, including Exeggutor, Vileplume, Venusaur, Lilligant, Abomasnow, and Carnivine, but the rest of the drawing came out shabby. Not just in drawing, but the fact that Exeggutor stuck out like a soar thumb while the rest of the characters were clustered together. Sure, you could see everyone, but the Exeggutor in the drawing was right there, and the rest might as well been a Katamari ball of grass Pokemon.

...But I didn't want this guy to go to waste. A fat, jolly palm tree with chubby legs and silly faces. I mean it's just so adorable and so... obvious I concentrated more time on making Exeggutor chubby than drawing his head region. The coconuts look good, but his leaves are way too small. ...But then again, I didn't want to hide the other Pokemon when drawing him. And... I ended up not finishing the others.
