Seeing this makes me automatically think back on "Pikachu's Vacation" from the very first Pokemon movie. I've got the English, opening song by "Vitamin C" going through my head now thanks to this. :)
I really like how Sparks is still that big-brother figure to Pichuboy and Lilpichu. They've certainly had lots of bonding time over these past few months that it is almost canon to see them hanging with Sparks.
