This one has a few inspirations. First, my gecko Tortilla, every single NIGHT, waits for me to move past her enclosure - as soon as she sees my hand go up to lift the lid to put in food or water, she takes a flying leap and tries to nab my finger. I am 98% sure she thinks I'm a cricket. (It's that other 2% that worries me and makes me think of Ye Olde Dinosaur Era...)
