This is a character I did for a friend of my mine on DA. She came up with a "dream pony," I call it a Kirin. She based it off of the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic franchise. I decided to go a different route.

I've always loved "The Last Unicorn" art style in the animated movie. She was so ethereal with the way her mane floated around her, even in her human form. So I decided to go with that style for my friend's Kirin, Bloodmoon.

I normally abhor digital work but I thought that it was the best route to get the effects that wanted for my friend's character. This was done on CS6, the idea was inked and reworked over digitally.
