The Ruby Egg has hatched, and it has revealed something special! it's owner, Clawbolt, requested a feline, so the hatchling is the most recently found species of wildcat: the clouded leopard from Malaysia.

SPECIAL EGGS:
I bet you'll notice something a little different about this adoptable: she is VERY intricately dressed and it says July in the upper right corner. that's because this is the very first "specials" series i'm starting: the birthstone series.

with this special comes some new options. first, in each batch of new eggs, there will be ONE birthstone egg. it is first come-first serve, and it is still the adoptee's choice of species. however, the newest option is that the "Grown Up" option for the Specials is a calender-style picture.

yep, i plan to put together a calender using the Specials from this series; the birthstone will tell you which month you will get (i.e. this egg would be the July photo). the purchase of the "adult option" guarantees your spot in the calendar with the character you have adopted. if you do not wish to purchase the calander page, the slot will be opened up for someone who wants to buy the place. instead of the hatchling, it will be a furry of their choice and the outfit will be the same as the hatchling.
