Its a bit blurred but your getting the basics, practice practice practice!!! Also refinement of what should be close to the viewer and the blur where it shouldn't be as close. I'd say... try not to make it so blurred as ya got and try to make it more in focus, cause not to be rude but looking it hurt my vision just a tad! With fur I've noticed its much like shading a body there will be highlights, low lights, and shadows. So gotta figure depending on the curve of the fur it should be bright in the middle dark on the bottom and top, or if its supposed to have light shining behind it darker at the base brighter at the tip.
Looks nice though so I'm sure with a few more practice runs you'll start to fine tune it.

NICE! Alright then yeah as a close up looks fantastic, I'd love to see a zoomed out. Your off to a fantastic start btw! Its definitely looking like fur. I'd say btw try to make a shoulder that's fur covered, there is quite a bit to work off of a rounded surface on a body. I also wouldn't be against some referencing to see how others let fur move on the body. I know its what I did as I'm also trying to increase my skills in texturing fur, though I've started out lightly with doing fur detail on necks, tails, and sometimes shoulders. Its difficult and will take time.
(One issue though I've ran into with a lot of questions I've found myself asking is everyone being hush hush and saying "Stare at an animal" I'm like... ooookay xD)

This looks great. The only thing I would recommend is, like, where you used the more saturated green for highlights, I would instead use a more saturated but darker green for lowlights, then use a closer-to-white version for the highlights, if that makes any sense? And afterwards go over with a thinner brush to show little individual hairs (which is something I never do because I am lazy and it takes forever xD)
