Is there a story behind this image?

This character is half dead. He's half dragon, half hyena, and his species of dragon cannot be alone for long periods of time or else it drains their life force. His hyena side, though, won't let him die. He mourns the dead and wishes he could be with them. Being a ghost of sorts, though still alive, he tries to salvage what he can. He uses his powers to make flowers grow and keep things alive as long as possible, but when he realizes how lonely he is, everything nice he's made gets destroyed. The reason why everything is glowing is because it's all about to die. The lake he'd made will dry up, the flowers will shrivel, the moon will go down and he'll try again the next night.

(It's kind of dumb, but that's my character. Aha...)
