And #100 @_____@ Holy cow, I've really done 100 of these things.
It's honestly appropriate that I started with Lapres and finishing with this fellow, Basil. =) My husband has been in need of a character for a while now, and we finally decided on a gryphon since he couldnt pick between a Barn Owl and a Lion. He's a British fellow, so he wanted to have something that he could relate to in that regard, so a Lion was something that we've been toying with. Skimike finally said to just shove the two together and that was it. Decided. My hubby is stuck with a gryphon if he likes it or not! Luckily, he likes it. ^^
Anyways, the name.
We've been trying to figure out what on earth to call the poor creature. T.T Andy said "I want something exceptionally British!" ... So I said "BOMBARDIER! So he can scream "BANG-ON!" >.> We were suggested Dave as everyone knows a Dave. So we kept going back and fourth with names. Henry, Charles, William - obvious names. Finally I said "Posh, you're a damn spice girl." Then I started naming off random spices found on our spicerack. Cumin, Oregano... then I said hey wait a second. "I HAVE IT! DONT TALK ABOUT ZE WAR!" And that was it.
Basil.
He honestly picked it so he could yell at people who say it wrong. XD

Basil, BRILLIANT, Gryphon, BRILLIANT!!! I love the story behind the choices too! I can't wait to see so much more of him ^_^. All of the badges are incredible dear I never imagined there could be so many variations of renaissance garb from one artist, and you pulled it off so easily :D! After I take my national cert exam on June 4th I'll be able to stay up and no one can stop me! I'll be able to actually stop by the streams ^_^!!
