This was fun piece for me to do. One I'm rather happy with fuzzy/ frayed end of the demin look to Rosemary's shorts. Two I'm please with how the AC/DC logo came out on the extremely abbreviated babydoll shirt. The AC/DC reference is also amusing because when I first started having dreams about Rosemary she had just gotten a job dancing in a couple"Classic remix" videos that the band was doing. Third was of course the Remington 870 SBS, which I felt I caught several of its details very nicely.
If I could redo one part of the piece though I'd do her eyes differently. I was looking for that somewhat bashful look and I don't know if it came off in this piece. Don't get me wrong the piece overall came out very nice and has been well received, but it is a nit I like to pick at. Image size 14"x 11". Medium color pencil with some marker, gouache and micron pen.

Yeah I 've had an idea for doing a series of images with her wearing a whole series of different t-shirts from 70's and 80's bands. ZZ Top, Scorpions, Van Halen, Blue Oyster Cult, Queensryche, Judas Priest, Def Leppard, Eagles. A lot of the stuff I listened to in college while working in the studio.
Well, why does that pic remind me on the AC/DC Song "Big Guns"? Well drawn, I like it. Say, is the SBS in the name standing for "Special Boat Service", the British eqvivalent to the US Navy SEALs?
Well, at least is a good close defence weapon, thats for sure. Problem is always that such short guns hold less shells.
