My good friend 
Knorr teamed up with me to produce this piece.
Playing Mass Effect 3, I was intrigued by the idea of Synthesis. Organic life enhancing via synthetic implantation, giving them obvious advantages and helping synthetic life understand organic motivations and thought processes. So, I made a little story from it and turned it into a song. :)

And again at the end. ^^ I definitely think it works nicely with the song. The whole thing has an alien beauty, fitting the lyrics perfectly. The classic X-Files melody is well-hidden by the different rhythm, but it's still recognizable if you're paying attention, and I think it really adds to the overall effect.
My favorite part would have to be the reuse of the first verse as the last with slight lyrical variation. That can easily ruin a song if it isn't done right, but in this case, it was cleverly phrased and beautifully executed. You're a very talented musician, and both of you have amazing voices. I look forward to hearing more from Elegarde. ;3
